7th ISPAH CONGRESS
THE WORLD’S FLAGSHIP PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND PUBLIC HEALTH CONGRESS IS HEADING TO LONDON FOR THE FIRST TIME.
The 7th International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress (ISPAH) is being held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster from 15-17 October 2018.
Co-hosted by Public Health England and Sport England – the two agencies leading the physical activity and health agenda in England – the biennial forum has three main themes:
- Addressing inequalities within and through physical activity
- Evidence into policy and practice to achieve population change
- Physical activity and the wider determinants of health.
ISPAH 2018 will bridge the gap between research, policy and practice, bringing a wealth of learning into one place.
Whether you’re a policy-maker, an academic or a practitioner, the congress will look at key areas around physical activity with insight that you can put into practice – from behaviour change and cross-sector working, to economics and technology.
You can get involved by booking your place at the congress, submitting a summary of research you’ve carried out, chairing a discussion group on a particular topic, or taking part in satellite events across the UK.
To register, submit your work or just find out more visit the 2018 Congress website.
